about Richard was saved as a 9 year old boy following a revival service in his hometown of Athens, Tennessee. He surrendered to the call to preach at age 18 and has been preaching now for 38 years. Richard was most blessed to marry the love of his life, Terry, in 1976. The Holden's have two adult children: Jesse who is married to Leslie and a daughter, Callie. Richard holds degrees from the University of the Cumberland's, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Trinity Theological Seminary. He has also been an evangelistic pastor for many years with a passion for souls. The reoccurring theme in Richard's life however is revival in the church in America. Richard states, "My prayer is that God would allow me to see a genuine revival in the church, before I die."
